In 1999, when Red Hawk Run Golf Course opened, the developers believed they had created something special. This was confirmed when Golf Digest awarded Red Hawk Run as the 6th Best New Affordable Golf Course in 2000. Then for 2004, Golf Magazine ranked Red Hawk Run 18th on their distinguished list of the 50 best U.S. courses for $50 or less.

Some additional comments from the magazines panelists include - “A Public Jewel 30 miles south of Toledo”, “A Real Gem for Northwest Ohio”, “Tournament Ready”, “Redefines Risks and Rewards”. The rankings continue as Golf Digest currently rates Red Hawk Run Golf Club as the only 41/2 star rated course in Northwest Ohio. Red Hawk Run has achieved this rating for two consecutive years.

Designed by Arthur Hills / Steve Forrest & Associates, Red Hawk will challenge you with its 56 bunkers, natural areas, Red Hawk Lake, Eagle Lake and a meandering creek that comes into play on 5 of the holes. With 5 sets of tees and yardage ranging from 5,000 to 7,155 yards, golfers of all skill levels can enjoy Red Hawk Run. The greens, tees and fairways are all beautifully maintained Bentgrass creating the ultimate golf experience.

The practice facility includes a putting green of almost 10,000 square feet and a large practice range that includes 1.75 acres of Bentgrass teeing area and bunkers to create realistic practice settings.
